About Me
My Testimony
In the early spring of 2002, I was riding my motorcycle home from work for lunch. It was a beautiful day—perfect weather for the ten-mile ride through the North Carolina countryside. I didn’t have a care in the world; I was simply enjoying the ride. I remember glancing across a field beside the road, following the treeline as the rolling hills stretched out into a breathtaking, picturesque view.
Then God showed me His creation.
In an instant, my mind went all the way back to the very beginning—all of it. He made this. He orchestrated everything that had to happen for that moment to exist. He created that beautiful place, that perfect time, and He placed me right there, thinking exactly what I was thinking. And then He made me realize: He did it all for me. He loved me that much.
At the same time, I knew how unworthy I was of everything He had given me. I was unworthy of His love. But He showed me that Jesus had paid the penalty I owed, and that if I would accept Him as Lord and Savior, He would cleanse me of the filth and make me His child.
I thought about this for three days, and finally made the decision to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I prayed and told Him, “I’m Yours.” I had accepted Jesus—but then I asked, “What could I possibly do…” and before I could finish, He spoke to my heart: “Be who you are—for Me.”
From that day on, my entire life has been about my Father’s work.
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”
